My understanding is that the hand is under the body in plank position, the same side as the leg that is up the pole. In your case, right leg and right arm are extended.

From either gemini or scorpio you can just grab the pole and put yourself into a V and come down, or you can bring both legs up into the invert and dismount whatever way works best for you.

To get out of a gemini you can try going into an inverted thigh hold. I like this transition a lot, bring your free leg around and grip the pole with your thighs as well as your gemini hook, then move your torso around so the pole is in front of you. Ta-da!

Lets call this inside leg hang and outside leg hang….when you say your left leg is hooked, is the pole against the left or right side of your body? Proper form would be that the leg that is extended would be on the same side as the arm that is extended and they should both be away from the pole.
