I have been off the pole for a week now and even before I had to be off the pole because of health issues and now I got back on it today full of excitement and than it all went so wrong!! So frustrating, nothing worked out, even the easy things I always have been able to do. It’s so sad in wintertime I have problems because I have no grip, all is too cold – pole and I also. And now it’s too warm, I am so slippery can’t do the most easiest things…I just walk around the pole and my legs are wet, can’t do any sits. With the hands it’s not too bad, use ‘dry hands’ and this works ok for it, but not on the legs unfortunately! Or could it be the lack of strength because being off the pole??
    Any ideas for me??

My pole has to be in the garage so I have the sweaty problem this summer. My hands are ok most of the time but sometimes I have to put the grip aid on other body parts too. Im a beginner so it's really hard for me. I find that facing a floor fan straight at me helps dry up any sweat as well as keep me cool!

Use dry hands on your legs and arms also make sure you are putting some on the pole too.

I have had really good results using Tite Grip on the inner thighs. It's an antiperspirant grip aid, so it prevents sweating wherever you apply it. It's made a world of difference for me with pole sit and plank types moves during hot, humid weather.

Sounds like it could be few things…your muscles & pole may need more warming up, you need to rebuild your strength and a lil grip aid might help with the sweaty leg issue. I get super sweaty inner thighs…what helps me is spraying my legs down with alcohol, then applying dry hands once the alcohol dries. I usually have to repeat this 1-2x during a session. I've also heard good things about dirty girl poletice for sweaty body parts.

One other thing you have to remember is NOT to use any lotions or tanning oils. Oils can take a few days to wash off but I believe lotion is okay to use the day before you pole. Everyone else's tips were pretty good 🙂

Thank you all so much, it's so nice to read all those comments!! Thanks!! Sometimes I guess its just good to hear I'm not the only one. I will try to find "dirty girl poletice" and "Tite grip" in germany. I tried alcohol, dry hands and powder on pretty much every skin part that's exposed to the pole, but yeah it's still running down on mehttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
