Marley i know what you mean alot of people stoped talking to me once I learned about the food and tried to tell them about it, I quickly learned that alot of people don’t want to hear it and even get mad or insulted, I thought I would throw it out there because I feel its important info and the peeps on here are so great, I felt the need to share!

Kaylie – You don't even eat grains like brown rice and quinoa? The are really good for you and have a fairly good glycemic load. I recently discovered pink rice at Market of Choice. It's yummy! I am gonna try sweet brown rice later this week. I LOVE popcorn, and it also has a good glycemic load. I use it as a snack when I'm hungry.
My favorite sugar substitute is stevia (natural plant.) I was using it before it became popular.
Man I wish I could make a window garden, but all my windows are low enough for my dogs to get to them. My mom's dog would eat the tomatos off our plant before they ripened (the little turd.)

If your new to going organic (or worried about the cost), check out these lists. Move to organic produce that's on the dirty list first to notice the most difference. Some plants don't hold the pesticides like others so the organic version doesn't make as a big difference.
