hello from ohio!

i’m from columbus, ohio and just got my pole a few weeks ago. i’ve taken lessons at a studio in town and am now working through veena’s fabulous videos. this is a great resource and i’m happy to be a part of it!

Hey there another Ohioan here from Cleveland Exotic Dance! My studio would be open to having a Studio Veena jam day every now and then if anyone is up by Cleveland. Also, check our website for workshops coming on Feb 20th! Kelly MacLaughlin will be our special guest instructor doing an Absolute Beginners workshop and another workshop, Spins and Flare, which is intended for those with some pole experience all the way through Advanced. If you’ve got some good spins and tricks and want to add more transitions and dance elements into your routine that’s what the 5-7pm workshop is about.
I love Studio Veena by the way! Just discovered it this past week!

BTW…it is great to see so many of us here in Ohio.
What ever happened to the possibility of a pole jam around the Columbus area? I know we were talking about it but then it seemed like the idea just died. I see 3 studios down there now.
They also need to get pole dancing into the Arnold. Fawnia is already a spokesperson for Bodybuilding.com….it shouldn’t be hard!

I was going to talk to my studio owner about it but we are getting super busy and the studio is almost always in use, it seems! Good problem to have, eh??
