I keep sticking to my chrome xpole, never had this problem with other chrome poles.

My hands will stick mid spin. My grip isn’t too tight and my hands aren’t sweaty or too dry. and the pole is always clean.

I’ve tried using dry hands and other aids incase my hands were getting too warm but nothing is helping.

The room humidity is fine. The pole is a year old. Any tips? xx

It simply sounds like a grip issue- we all have them! Whether the issue is too much, or not enough, it can be very tricky to manage. With my powder coated pole at home, I find it extremely grippy after a little bit of warming up, and I generally do not practice spins after that point. At the studio, right now it’s definitely a lack of grip, and so spins are fine!
As far as I know, dry hands is generally meant for increasing grip on the pole, rather than reducing it.
What kinds of spins are you attempting? How is your momentum during this part of the spin? I know that certain spins, upon changing body position, can slow down during the spin and even come to a halt.

Every spin i do sticks. fireman, chair, reverse grab, one handed spins, everything!

Yet at the studio I can spin perfect on those chrome poles.

I’ve heard new poles need broken in but I’ve had it a year.

I used itac a few times when I got it so wondered if that maybe ruined the chrome as it was a nightmare to remove but I clean it down and tried every product reccomended including window cleaner, methalayted spirit, vodka, steam etc
