    Hiya,

I received my 42mm Titanium Xpole yesterday and tried to set it up last night.

My ceiling height is 2585mm which according to the xpole instruction book means i would only need to use the 250mm extension rod. However when i attached it and tried connecting it to the roof, there was a distance between the dome and the roof of 150mm (and i know the adjuster rod shouldnt be extended anymore than 125mm).

However when i try and add the 125mm extension rod as well, there just isnt enough room for me to be able to connect the a & b poles together. I am getting very frusturated as i really want to use my new pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Do any of you have any suggestions of whether i am doing something wrong?

    Your help would be awesome

    Thanks so much!

    Sarah

Sara it sounds as though you have an original Xpole not the XPert or XSport?

It seems you have a bit of flexibility in your roof. All ceilings/roofs have some give to them when you set your pole up but some have more than others and the roof may settle lower until you crank your pole up and then you find it’s too high for the extensions you’re using.

In this case you need to purchase a different extension for your pole. There are a variety of extension lengths available. Contact your dealer or XPole to determine the length that would work for your ceiling. I would make certain to have exact measurements of your ceiling height before AND AFTER your pole is set up so that they understand the height difference you are working with.
