Hi girls. I’m just looking for tips and poses for my first pole shoot. I have uploaded sum pics to my profile (feel free to noisy and post tips, there mainly needed on the handstand) but want sum more ideas of new things or how to improve what I got. I won’t be able to do many tricks at the shoot its more of a sexy shoot. Dark lights and smoke machine will make it very slippy. So ifyou have any nice pics or or tips would me great. Thanks girls 🙂 xxxx

I usually don’t do a bunch of pole tricks in photo shoots because I just don’t have the stamina for it. Lol! If you do want to do some pole tricks, make a list. My best tip though for a photo shoot is to make veeeeerrrry slow subtle movements instead of moving from one pose directly to another. Think about the way a flip book works where each picture has a tiny change so that when you flip the pages it looks like the pictures are in motion. Same concept. This technique has made the difference between having 40 or 50 shots to choose from and 200 shots to choose from. I usually put on some slow music during the shoot and dance in an exaggerated slow pace. Oh, and remember to “spot” your photographer :). Have fun!!!

I had a photo shoot in a hotel room in vegas my 1st real professional shoot.  The most difficult part for me was there was no mirror!  I could not see myself, as I am use to and could not check out my pose to see if it looked good.  Also turning my body toward the photographer perfectly was hard, you have to get up on the pole into your trick and then move yourself sideways if needed.

I was sweating and slipping, which I usually don't do.  Fingers and toes become very important, for posing. I'll put some of my pics up on my profile for you to see, there were so many that did not turn out as my face expression was bad, my fingers were open, or the pose just wasn't perfect.  Holding it for longer than you are use to is hard.  If you can bring a freind who can run up and fix hair, fingers toes or tell you to fix a body part that knows pole tricks it will help!  Lots of my beautiful hard tricks I have been doing for a while I could not do at the photo shoot because I slipped so bad, and frankly forgot them!  Got to the shoot and forgot everything, got nervous!

I agreen with subtle movements and in each pose play with different facial expressions.. Its usually the thing you think wont work which usually does ( or the most awkward pose) Express everything way more that you usually do.. Wear something outlandish you wouldnt usually wear.. Its a photo shoot go a bit crazy! Its hard to get tricks to face the photographer so stick to the moves youre very good at and can cantrol. I think i have a few photos on my profile if you want a bit of inspiration. Best of luck im sure youll look awesome!
