how to post link 2 vid on forum

Im fairly sure you cant actually embed the video (have a video screen up and watchable) in the forum but you CAN easily post the link by just copy & pasting the URL (web address) to the video here in the text box. Once you have the URL in the text box (such as this) highlight the link via left click & dragging and then click on the tab/button inbetween the subject line & the text box. That will put the html code on the sides of it.

Go to the vids section, click on your video. That will bring up at seperate page where your video plays and diplays comments and all that. The url to your video is the web address in the main Url line of your web browser. It doesnt have a .mp4 or .avi or anything like that which makes it seem like it might not be the correct link but it is!
For example this is a link to my newest video… the url will look something like this… http://www.studioveena.com/video/gallery/A-bit-of-practice-uncut- then just highlight the link by left clicking and dragging and click on the URL button under the subject line of the post (in between the font color tab and img tab). That will put on either side of your link and makes it clickable. Or you can just type that on either side. ya, thanks sooo much for trying to help https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif , but think am giving up on this one. am very very upset as it is (personal stuff getting bad) and this sounds so simple, yet its just not working for me. dont have a mouse (laptop) but managed to highlight address, but don’t get how to get it to forum page since obviously it’s the video page that’s up and not forum page. tried to click "edit" to cut and paste but than address isn’t highlighted anymore. just very frustrating (especially where there are so many bad things going on lately and this is one small pleasure i get. i get pretty upset w myself when i can’t figure out what seems so simple for everyone else. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

It can be tricky working without a mouse sometimes, don’t worry. xx
If you manage to highlight the address of the page your vid is on, that’s great! Now all you have to do, while it’s highlighted, is press Ctrl+C (if you’re on a PC, if on a Mac I think it’s Apple button + C). That will copy it.
Then go back to the form, and start making the post you want to put the link in. Then press Ctrl+V to paste it.

yea i hate laptops for that reason.
you can always get a cheap USB mouse at biglots =D i cheat LOL
as for one window open.. you can has more than one window open.. or in my case even "tabs"
lets say you have your video on youtube..
and you wanna post it here..at the top left, left click "file" scroll and click "new tab" or "new window".. new window in your case may make it a bit easier
(for a short cut for a new window
you can hold down the Ctrl key and hit the N key and it will automatically open a new window so you dont have to click)and then type in veenas addy and all that fun stuff and get ready to post =)
you should see the original window you had open first behind your new one, if not they will show up at the bottom of ur screen and you can click back and forth
YAY its done uploading on youtube! ok ..
when u go to watch it u know how on the side it says "embed" and like "url"in the URL box sometimes if u click on it it will automatically select it all.
if not just right click.. select "select all"
(shortcut to select all is hold down Ctrl and hit A)right click on it again and select "copy"
(shortcut to copy is hold down Ctrl and hit C)ok and click back to the veenaforums..
right click where you would type your comment and select "paste"
(shortcut to paste is hold down Ctrl and hit V)then it should turn up with

ok if ur lucky.. u can just leave it like that and the site will automatically know its a link
if not..
add before http and
at the very end =)it is quite easy but the fact that u dun has a mouse kinda makes everything a bit more difficult
but hopefully we can get you up n going ^^!!

omg you guys are the best! can’t believe you went out of your way to try to walk me through it. i feel like an idiot when it comes to the computor so thanks so much for being so patient and helpful https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/bom.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif . haven’t tried new suggestions as just got home from 3rd shift (go back at 1p) and just don’t want to get frustrated if it doesnt work (cause instead of getting sleep will just get a headache https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif ) but will be trying tonight. ordered new cable (last 1 was to hook up cam to tv not computor so should be in end of next week if not sooner and spent the 25$ to have video put to dvd so atleast i know i’ll have a few new dances to post in the next couple weeks. am so excited to catch up with challenges and posting. thanks again so much! **HUGS**
