  Honestly, I am very attracted by the idea of encapsulating the placenta for the reasons mentioned above. When I talked about to a colleague who is a scientist by the way, she said that the idea was gross. Anyway, we can all have different opinions and perceptions.  I agree that some scenes might be shocking but the placenta is only part of our body…

  Personally, I would love to encapsulate my placenta when the time comes and wanted to know if among the Veenars Moms, there are some who had this experience and was it really beneficial for their post partum recovery….

  Usually the hospital takes the placenta for research purposes, but you are not obliged to give it. If for example, I can't for whatever reasons, make the encapsulation, I would plant a tree and put the placenta with the roots. It's supposed to give the baby great "roots".
