I wasnt even going that hard at pole but I did work on numerous knee hold/contact moves, I was only practicing for the length of 5 songs but my boyfriend noticed this really purple bruising in my knee pit and we both took a look at it and its a bumpy, very purple inflamed vein and so sore, it makes it so I cant walk right and is only comfortable if slightly bent and laying down on its side. has anyone experienced this before and what is it called? how long does it last? I stopped as soon as I noticed that when my foot was on the ground it made my whole leg seize up

I’ve had some bad bruises before. I even had a hard lumpy vein in my thigh that I had to get checked by the doctor. if its painful and inflamed it might be a blood clot. not necessarily the dangerous kind in the deep veins, but you could have a clot in a very superficial vein. if it is painful and swollen you should probably go get it checked out by the doctor. they will probably tell you it’s going to be fine and may use a hot compress or something on it. but definitely get it checked if it is painful and swollen. especially if it is painful to put weight into that leg. hope you get better soon.
