Ok the other night I went to a pole jam with some friends who also have gotten samples of itac2, I get there and the pole is already warmed up, i grab it and its really grippy, she has a chrome 50mm x-sport. I asked how the pole was so grippy and she said she put the itac2 on the pole. It allowed us all to take turns on it without having to wipe it down first. at least for 30 minutes, then it kinda wore off. im not sure how long they were on it before I got there. when I tried to put more (#2) directly on my hands after it wore off on the pole I ran into the same problem I did when I tried it the first time.

I have not used any other products, I have Tac 2, level 2 and 4.  I did not like it at all.  It makes a mess of the Pole and I had to steam it off.  I could not grip well with level 2 and level 4 was as Meleania said it was like hydrolicking down the pole.  Help, I did as the directions called for but it just did not work for me.  Any suggestion on other products?

I used Itac2 level 4 and thought it was great.  The girls in my class complained that the grip was too tight and it was hard for them to spin but they could always go down to the lower levels for that.  It is waxy of course but we put wax on our poles (at least when it is cold) to help the grip.  I did not experience any of the slickness that I am reading about.  I really love it!

Fireside, do you by any chance use a brass pole? I find the itac2 to be amazing on the xpole but horrible on brass poles.

To Moonflower, I have a chrome finish 50mm.  Yesterday I heated up the room and that seemed to do the trick (no pun intended) for me.  This is a wonderful site and all the members are so supportive.  Learning as I go.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Hey, Guys! After years of slipping, I finally tried this one and it is my fav! You can put it on your pole, on your andds, or all over! The slipping thing I hear some talk about may be because you do need to take a minute and rub it in. You will feel it get real warm. Then it is ready. You will see me rubbing my hands all the time in my videos. This is what I am doing. I feel you can reactivate it a few times by doing this too! Same thing when it goes on the pole. Rub it in till you hear that friction noise. Do not ever just put a grip aid on without testing it first before you do a move. They all need to be rubbed in a little.

i am the only person out of my group of "pole friends" that has very dry hands.  I have found that if I use ITAC2 on my hands~i CAN NOT spin!!! at all!!!!  but it works great as a grip aid for my body.  I typically only have to use it when i work on new tricks.  The feedback I have heard from my own circle of friends is that if you have really sweaty hands~one of the anti-perspirent products like Mighty Grip or Tite Grip work much better, but if you are not "sticking" to the pole when trying different inversions/static poses etc ITAC2 is amazing!!!!!!!

I LOVE iTac. It's my favorite grip out of all of them. Especially working on new inverted/tough moves to be sure I have a good grip. Never liked Dry Hands much but got it to work well for me for spins not too long ago. Mighty Grip I couldn't get off my hands fast enough lol.

I use iTac level 2 for when I don't want insane amounts of grip and retain the ability to spin around the pole, and level 4 for practicing my twisted grip and sometimes pat the pole down on slippery days with it for cartwheel mount practice.

I noticed the grips don't seem to work as well on the titanium gold poles (in my experience so far), but I seem to be able to retain a decent grip on one of those without any aid.

@Muffin85 – what level of iTac2 have you tried? Perhaps for your hands you may be better suited for level 1 and continue using a stronger level for your body which seems to work well for you.
Let me know if you haven't experimented with level 1 and I'll send you a sample.

Thanks everyone else for your feedback – Keep on Poling!!

@ peter: i have only tried level 2.  Don't get me wrong, i ABSOLUTELY ADORE it for my inner thighs, calves, bicep etc. but i just happen to have exceptionally dry hands and have found that any type of grip aid for my hands just isn't neccessary/helpful.  I do think ITAC2 is an amazing product and will def continue to use it on the rest of my body  =)

@bluegirl: I use level 2. You kinda have to play with it, get samples, and see what works best for you! : )

Peter is sending me samples of 2/3/4 so I can try them out and see what works best for me. So excited! I normally use mighty grip, but my hands are usually sweaty, so I spend a lot of time wiping my hands and reapplying. Hoping itac will be the product that enables me to go from trick to trick!
