Hey Ladies who used iTac2 – I got a Level 3 sample from Peter.  I used it on Brass pole last night.  It was weird…my hands feel REALLY sticky (too sticky?), but apparently I sweat through it (I even left sweat AND sweat print all over the pole)  I end up using Mighty Grip on top of the iTac2…still didn't work….I had to wipe my hand after every move.

Is it because of the level I'm using (is level 2 really better for hands?) or the material of the pole or I just sweat too much?? I heard Tite Grip is a good anit-sweat product.  Anyone tried using Tite Grip with iTac2??

I literally slipped off the pole in the middle of my spin…i was down on the hard wood floor https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif   This is sooo frustrating!! T_T

@ Mechie—I've only used level 2, so my ability to comment is limited.  From my experience, it feels kind slick and greasy at first.  I apply it initially to my hands and then wipe the excess on pole.  Once the layer of product is thinned, it becomes more easily activated and becomes tacky/sticky.  I do not mind the stickiness, as that is what helps my grip.  However, despite feeling sticky, I am still able to spin and do all the moves I want to do easily.  The product itself will make finger marks on the pole, so I'm not sure that your actually leaving sweat prints.  Trying a different level might help, it seems levels 1 & 2 are supposed to be better for spinning, while higher level ones are for tricks/static holds (from my understanding).  Tite grip may also help.  I can't remember this member's name off hand, but there is somebody on here that swears by itac2 with tite grip on top.

Below are the different level descriptions from the website.  I do not think they have been posted to this thread yet.:

    Level 1
    Low grip
    Better for spins
    Perfect for dry hands

    Level 2
    Low-Medium grip
    Secure climbs & holds
    Move, spin & slide

    Level 3
    Medium grip
    Great for sweaty hands

    Level 4
    Maximum grip
    Tricks and new moves
    Best for very sweaty hands

@ Masked Loopy II – Thanks! I just ordered a tube of Tite Grip on Amazon…I'll try to use that before putting iTac2 on.  I hope it'll work, I reeeeally want to love iTac2 because it's so sticky…but it just doesn't work if I can sweat over it…sigh.

I am the one who swears by itac2 with tite grip on top. It is AMAZING! ITac can be a bit slippy by itself but when you add tite grip on top it seems to absorb the sweat. I only apply once every 30 mins or so. Different grips/combos work for different people/climates/grip surfaces, but this is the magic combo for me.
Both iTac and Tite Grip will send free samples, so try it before you buy it. But in my personal opinion it’s the shiz.

I useI use Tite Grip about half an hour before and then Itac2 level 3.  If after a while it becomes slippery I put a little Mighty Grip on top and it's good to go, but that is unusual unless it is very hot weather and I am super sweaty.

Hi everyone.  Thanks for all the feedback on iTac2 Pole Dance Grip. We certainly recommend experimenting and if you don't find that it works for your hands then we hope you like it for your body.

We just uploaded a couple of "How To Apply iTac2 Pole Dance Grip" videos to youtube featuring Alethea Austin and Karol Helms – sorry the audio isn't as loud as it could be. Hopefully this helps you.

Wow so many varied results. I love this stuff I only use a bit because too much glues me to the pole lol I say to those it's not working for definitely try other levels as well as different amounts before giving up and try wiping the pole with alcohol before starting but the more I see in class and online, grip aids really depend on the individual and their body chemistry. For example a lot of people love pole physics but it does nothing for me. Itac (level2) as well as rubbing alcohol are the only things that have worked for me so far.

Thanks for posting the vids Peter! I used itac when I poled outside the other day….it worked great! I find that if I apply just a touch (not too much) to my hands it works best for me. I had great results using it this winter on my "knee pits" When my pole room was cold!https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
