my lil mynx has never moved even when my 230 lb husband played around on it. idk why so many people think lil mynx isnt a good pole, i love mine and i def dont see it as unstable or cheap whatsoever.

I may have to have my old man call and haggle for me…I'm horrible at it. lol He's ruthless! See if you're doing advanced tricks at 130lbs that makes me hesitate. I'm 5'2…… 156-ish lbs….

ive heard of x poles losing the tension And coming down also. im not bashing x pole either jus saying im sure every pole company has its pros and cons. if u r very worried About stability maybe u shud save up for PS pole that fastens to ceiling and floor.

If people’s husbands can swing on the lil mynx pole, you (and i!) can pole on it.

any tension pole needs to be checked for tightness every time you use it. Houses expand and contract with the weather and that can change how tight your pole is. I've been between 135-165lbs 5'5 and haven't had problems with mine coming down other then when the screw ate through the ceiling. Put it back up with a piece of wood between the mount and the ceiling and haven't had a moments problem since. Matter of fact I had the opposite problem I couldn't get it down when I wanted to take it down! My niece has also used it some and she is over 200. Mynx's are rated to I believe 220?

Definitely too much for that pole. I have both the chrome XPole, and powder coated Lil Mynx. Love my Lil Mynx pole! The grip is much better for me. Chemgoddess is right though, the pad is useless.

I run anywhere from 145-165 and have done LOTS of advanced tricks on my LM.  Probably the hardest trick on a pole is a reverse grab and I did them all the time on my LM.  Plus I am 5'8" so the bulk of my body weight was pretty far from the pole.  The only thing I do not like about the LM poles is that the top adjustable section is not usable.  If you have shorter ceilings it is not an issue.
