I have a couple of question, and hopefully I can get some answers on here! I'm new, so still looking around at all the site has to offer :).

Well, I am looking into getting my first pole. I have been watching pole dancing forever, and just absolutely love it…..I finally decided, "why don't I get my own pole?!". The problem is, there are NO places here that gives lessons/classes…so I would be teaching myself. I have looked up on it, and have read of a lot of women who have taught themselves on their own poles…but i'm nervous I won't be able to do it. I want to invest in a nice pole so bad, but am so nervous I won't know what to do with it, at all :/

And my final question, the first question I had in the first place, do you all recommend the lil mynx rotator colors? That's the pole I was thinking of getting for myself, but don't know if that'd be a good one. Also, anything I should buy along with it to use the pole? I don't have dry hands nor do my hands get sweaty (hardly ever) would I still need something when using my pole?

Sorry for such a long post, hope I can get some helpful advice!

Picking a pole is a personal choice and there are a few options. I'm going to give you a few links that you can read up on to make the decision for yourself.

This first one gives info on the type of finishes and off to the right side of the page is additional info on Pole diameters and brands.

The next one is a review I just posted on the StudioVeena by Lil' Mynx pole that is available. (on the right side of the page you are on now)

I think the StudioVeena by Lil' Mynx pole might be a good choice for a beginner, especially because it has a great price point. Your profile does not state where you live, but this pole is currently available for US and Canadian shipping only.

I agree with Lyme. The lessons here are very inexpensive and incredibly detailed.

You would not necessarily have to purchase anything else right off, but be warned! You may have a deep desire to buy platform shoes!
