lil mynx stainless steel vs others
So I love my lil mynx ss. Way more than any other finish. I have a brass xpole and used to have a chrome xpole. I’m thinking about getting another ss pole since mine is only the static version. How does xpole’s ss finish compare to lm? Any others to consider?

I really like the Platinum Stages stainless… I find it really grippy but Im not sure if they are making removable poles anymore.

Does xpole have ss? I thought they had chrome, titanium gold, brass. I’m glad you like lil mynx ss. Usually it’s the slipperiest of poles. Good luck. 🙂

I’m shocked I prefer the ss too. But it just seems to work for me. Recently. I even went to a festival where they’d used a ss pole for the center pole of a circus tent. It also worked great for me. Even cold.

I’ve not tried xpoles new SS put the first ones were not good at all, it was a brushed finish and nothing like any SS I ever used, impossible to grip. I’d think they have changed it by now though. I don’t like SS at all, however the SS that PS has is very good and I have had very nice grippy days with it!

I’ve never tried the lil mynx SS but I absolutely despise the xpole SS. so much that I refuse to do any showcases or performances where one is being used. terrible. had this for my last showcase for my studio and I almost quit the show the day of. couldnt do crap on it.

Phoenix, have you worked on other ss poles? I know most people hate them.
Maybe this is why I need to get myself to a pole conference. Want to try the xpole ss and the silicone. I suppose I could do like I did with titanium gold and just order the parts. Btw,i hate titanium gold.

Nope, the xpole SS is the only SS pole I have tried so I have nothing to compare it to. I would try other SS poles. But didn’t like the xpole one at all. I used to like TG now I don’t care for it either. Xpole’s new chrome seems to grip better for me than the TG. I used to love the TG. Not so much now. We have chrome, TG, and SS at the studio I go to. I always reach for the new chrome poles

I did try a platinum stage star stand alone. I suspected it was SS? I dunno. Whatever it was it was horrible too. It could have been chrome I’m not sure

Thanks everyone for the replies! Pole finish seems to be such an individual preference, but I definitely appreciate all the input!
