    Hi!

I was thinking of buying an x-pole but wanted to know if I’m able to put it in my apartment. You see I live on the third floor with carpet and my ceiling has those sand blast texture. Would it be ok to setup pole in my apartment? Do I need to drill the pole on the ground? I’m little worried the ceiling or the floor or both will crashed down on my downstairs neighbor. Well I’m not too worry about the ceiling as long I use a stud finder to find the support wood. Any advice would be great! 😀

I have carpet and a textured ceilings and pole on the second floor with an attic above and a kitchen bellow and i have never had any problems with my x-poe xpert. In fact i love it! As long as its on a stud and you shouldn’t have any problems 🙂

i also have textured ceiling & carpet in my pole room, i have a platinum stages permanent pole (screws in ceiling & floor), it’s great & secure. just make sure you use a stud finder & if you are still not 100% sure there is a stud there (mine was flashing & beeping a lot) use a long nail & hammer to double check before installing the pole. (remove the nail after you check). i had a tension mounted pole years ago & it worked well on textured ceiling & carpet as well. just make sure you always find the stud when installing any pole.
