newbie question: x-pert or x-sport?
Hi all!!! I am new to pole dancing but have been lurking around studio veena for a while now! I am absolutely addicted to this website and I love it. I have been taking lessons but I really want my own pole since my class only meets once a week and would love to practice at home. I was originally going to get the lil mynx pole but my boyfriend has done his own "pole research" https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif and he thinks an xpole is the better option. I have also noticed that most of the ladies and gents on this site have an Xpole..so it must be good!!! So question is..should I go for the x-sport that doesnt spin or splurge on the x-pert? I have never tried spinny poles, but it looks like fun! I know its a matter of preference but I’ve never tried spinny and would love to hear your opinions! Thanks! I totally appreciate any feedback!

Now: $359 with option to spin.
OR
Now: $289 to not spin, save the $70.
Later: Want to spin and spend another $359.Going with titanium gold prices listed on the Xpole website, studios/websites have deals. Purely from an economic view if money is an issue. I haven’t used a spinning pole, I regret getting a stationary only at my last place. I’m going spinning next time, just in case if I feel the need to try it, I actually can.

Have you ordered your xpert TG yet? Mine should arrive Monday 9/13/10. I’b both excited and nervous. I’m replacing my lil mynx stainless steel pole. I’ve just read so many posts about xjoints, hex screws misaligning, etc. I hope those issues are few and far between.
I was also going to get non-spinny cuz I just don’t feel it’s something I’m interested in; however, veena mentioned xpert is better built/quality, so I went with it. It will be difficult because due to my husband’s and my work hours, it probably won’t go up till next weekend, it’ll be like waiting for Christmas morning! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif

I haven’t gotten my xpert yet since its a birthday gift from my birthday (3 weeks https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif ), but I’m actually getting the chrome one and i’m soooooooo excited!!!! I know TG is way more grippy, but I use chrome at the studio i take lessons at.Thats so exciting!!! Let me know how set up goes for you when you receive your new xpert!! congrats!

Agh, mine is for my birthday also, although hubby let me order it early. My Bday is in Oct. I’m going to a totally different finish, and hear great things about it compared to ss, so hope it works for me!!
