    hey everyone im carissa.,, i am so glad i found this site!!!!!! i just started dancing last week and i need all the help i can get. i worked thursday friday and i couldnt m,ake it thru the night on saturday i was so sore and bruised and m,y feet looked like something out of a horror movie! lol any tips are appreciatted thanks ladies!!!!

    HI welcome to the site!! Try working out every other day to give your body a chance to rest. I call these "rejuvenation" days! If you happen to be taking the lessons start off by watching each of the "Getting Started" lessons for each section.     Hi Carissa, welcome! I agree with Veena, you need to let your body rest in between days. Poling everyday is WAY too much. Try alternating types of workouts, like if you worked on a lot of strength/tricks one day, work on transitions/spins/floorwork the other day. For me, I am able to make it to the studio quite often. I like to do some kind of workout everyday, so on the days I don't pole, (since I'm already going to the studio a lot) I'll just go for a run in my neighborhood or just have a day off or just stretch if I'm really tired.
