$250 is a really good price.  I am not sure what you are planning on using it for but do keep in mind the shortness of the pole and the difficulty in moving this due to weight.  Besides that I hope it looks as good in person!

as for the height, i was thinking a trip to the hardware store would be an idea, 😉 she also said that she has a carry case for it, didn't know these one had one, but will see when i get there!

I had to look up what buskering was.  I have honestly never heard that term before….thanks for the learning opportunity!

I don't think PS ever made a carrying case for the original stage pole. Or maybe she made her own?

We use to have to put a couple hundred pounds of sandbags underneath ours to hold it down from tipping over and the pole itself snapped in half. You would be better off ordering a new pole for it..one with a steel reinforced lining.

I want to sell my base but there is no pole with it…I would ask $200 so I think that's a fair price.

I have an old pole from the first PS I was given. I was shipped the new eZ connect pole, so my other one is not being  used. Not sure where you live or if that helps you – but thought I would throw it out there.

yes, though I guess it would be more accurate to say it snapped off at the base – this was after 3 days of use at an expo. It was just after I finished using it and was bringing up a guest to try out a fireman spin…the pole shifted in my hand and I knew something was wrong and stopped and turned the stage over.

    This is what I found:

By the way…that's a "genuine" brass pole.

ohhhhhh my thats not pretty…. is it only me or Ps have a lot of issues with their products 🙁

in the past i had the original ps stage and when i received the pole it was already damaged, they never wanted to replace it

I was thinking of getting the ps stand alone because its lighter to carry around than the xstage , but ohhh myyy, seeing that picture  has making me running back to x pole crying for my mom lol

Oliviaaa – It seems that PS has had some major problems in the past. They are steadily fixing their problems. That's not to say there aren't still problems, but x pole is also having a lot of problems too. I had NOTHING but problems with my x pert. The comparison thread for the star and x stage has some girls talknig about the issues they've had with either stage (star and x stage.) There are several girls on here with the new PS star stand alones the really love them. The EZ connect poles seem to fix the issue with the poles unscrewing on the stage. You can ask PS if the walls of the brass stage poles are thicker than they once were. I called them asking about their 38mm poles and they said that they will be approx twice as thick as the 45's, which is comforting. With that said, I'm still not sure I'd be comfortable dancing on a brass free-standing pole, given how soft brass is compared to stainless steel.

    thanks ladies for your comments,

in the last 24 hours, i have been doing a lot of looking online, at how poles/stages are made, put together, and so on, and my b/f and i realized, and this was a real DUH moment, lol

we know enough people/friends with the right materials and equipment, to just build one,

i have even gone as far as to already draw up a design for a portable base that will allow me to use my current x-pole, still trying to figure out how to have it spin, but, i will get there, lol

so i will not be buying the PS stage but will keep you all updated on how it goes with my build!!

again thanks for the help!! ♥
