    ok here we go.

i have been poling for 4 months, i have always been active, lifting weights etc so my hands are used to strain. but the past month the tops of my hands have been so sore at some points feels like my tendons are going to explode out the top :S terrible visual i know sorry lol

just not sure if it is pole related? if i have some kind of death grip putting to much strain on my hands.

my wrists are fine, fingers joints etc. just the top an inch above my wrist across the tendons on the top of my hands. my left is worse than my right. right doesn't bother me left …id like to trade hands with someone! arrggg

so doing this discussion just to see if anyone eles has similar pain? i have been trying to stretch my hands when watching TV and using ice just incase…when i am poling i am perfectly fine. i don't even notice it…

    annoyed lol

thanks for any input, ideas similar situations 🙂

How often do you pole? Make sure you are taking rest days between your workout days. You may even want to take a few days in a row off to see if I gets better, it sounds like an overuse injury to me. Icing and stretching are good in the meantime

It does sound like over use. If you have the lessons you could try some of the hand and forearm stretches and foam/ball rolling techniques, they feel so good! I bet you'll feel better soon if you take a little break, if not I would see a DR. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif

Yes. I second Veena's hand and forearm stretches. I do them daily and sometime while sitting at a red light!!
