I already own two pairs of please shoes that are a bit big on me. One of the is really worn out so I want to order another pair. The thing is that now that I’m inverting with heels I find that when I am in the inv. crucifix position my ankle strap makes contact with the pole. This makes me feel very insecure so I was looking into buying the adore model (without ankle straps). Do any of u own a pair? Have they ever come off while dancing? I’m a bit scared of that happening and having a shoe fly off and slamming into my hubbys face : o I also wonder if I can go down a size sinve they are strapless. Size 6 is small on me but size 7 is too big. Any advise would help : )

i don't dance alot in shoes so rememer that with this advice..I\m sure others will weigh in 🙂

I have found that if gripping you can work around where that buckle is and actually make contact with the pole where the plasticcy strap is.  Personnally I try not to use that as leverage or grip in case i slipped or whatever…I would be hesitant on using the shoes without straps…you mean just the slides right?..only because you would be trying to crunch your toes to keep them on and there is a danger of them coming off..spins, inverts, etc. Just my .02 really…I have enough to focus on when dancing like flex this, point that now hold shoe on..I just couldn't do it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

In regards to size…In Pleaser I was always buying a 7…I am a true 7 all across the board.  Once I used them alot and I was inverting –I am right foot dominant–so that shoe whould stretch out and be all uncomfortable.  I size down now in Pleasers and Ellies—I think that is all i own..they are VERY fitted at first but fit perfect after a acouple of wears ..hope that helpshttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Thanks for the sizing advice. When I first ordered it was a size 6 but exchanged them for a 7 because they were so tight. I may stick to a 6 this time and see if they stretch out enough.
The gripping issue is something that happens without me trying, my ankle just happens to land there and I hate that it pulls the strap. I prefer skin contact thas why I thought of giving the slides a shot. I’m scared though lol
