I don’t have an X-pole but maybe you should post a video or a picture of your situation. That would probably enable people to help you better with suggestions.

^^^Mine isn’t a permanent pole but i put weights on the base to help it sink into the carpet more and that didn’t help it from moving… I’m thinking its cause my ceiling is textured. maybe if i use a piece of plywood at the top to give it a flat surface it will help it a bit. also going to call the company.

I’m confused https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif X pole will fit up to a 9ft ceiling. Check to make sure your using the proper extensions, I don’t think you would need to use both for a 8ft 6inch ceiling. You don’t need plywood, just try using the longest extension not both. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

The longest extension is too long by itself for my ceiling yet with the shortest one I have to unscrew the expander to little over 5 inches which is more then 125mm but less then 150mm. My ceiling is a wavy texture and the other ceiling is smashed down popcorn texture I don’t know the exact term for it also my carpet has very thin padding? I’m afraid of over tightening the pole. I tighten it until I could no longer turn the bolt then had my so tighten it 3 more times but it still slides about 2 inches. I’m making a video right now of all the steps I take and what my ceiling looks like.

thanks to the help of customer support i fixed my pole and have been playing on it last night, apparently my ceiling in the living room is unlevel so I moved to my bedroom and perfect-o. I can’t be happier! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
