Ive noticed in almost all of Eva Bembos videos she has her knee wrapped. Does anyone know why this is? Ive been having an issue with one of my knee pits for quite some time now and I was wondering if wrapping it like she does will allow me to keep poling. Does anyone know what she uses? Do any of you wrap up a leg to support an injury or at least protect it some? Im not quite sure how to go about poling using one leg because your really supposed to do everything on both sides. Any of you dealt with this issue?

I’ve seen that knee wrap you are talking about. Im not sure what she is wearing. In one video I could see it pretty close up, it doesnt look more supportive than a knee pad. it might be a compression sleeve type thing, or maybe it is actually a very lightly padded knee pad. If you want to wear something that might reduce contact pain and still be able to pole I really recommend the mighty grip knee pads. they arent knee wraps but actual knee pads. I have a messed up knee and sometimes have to wear these. I always wear them if I’m doing floor work. always. they have grip to them and a hole in the back of the knee so you can absolutely still do leg hangs and knee pit grips with them on. they help grip because of the tacky strips on them too. so that may assist your knee pit grip issues depending on what you have going on. not sure if you just have lack of grip or an injured knee.if you do get the mighty grip knee pads, get the original. mine have lasted a long time. I’ve heard negatvie feed back about the their liquid motion knee pads so I can only recommend the original knee pads. And they are not bulky like regular knee pads. In the videos I’ve seen of Eva wearing that wrap she doesnt do much pole work, its mostly floor work. so maybe that is why she is wearing it.

thanks for the response. Its not my knee that has the issue its actually my knee pit. Its a vein issue. My family members think its a varicose vein so Ive got to figure it out. I really dont want to give up pole

oh! I see! Varicose veins run in my family and I have some scary looking veins in my knee pit. luckily mine dont hurt or anything. Some veins I think can be treated with an injection that will help shrink the vein if its not a very large vein. yes, the knee pads i was talking about wont cover your knee pit but the strips on them would assist in taking some of the pressure off of your knee pit making it easier to grip. but they dont fully cover the knee pit. 🙁 it might be better than nothing though. there’s definitely treatments available for varicose veins, some more invasive than others. I had a blood clot doing a Marley last year. 🙁 it got pretty big but eventually dissolved. it was very tender. I have terrible veins and I bruise really bad. it sucks. one vein on the front of my leg kept bursting, it was a large vein. it broke so many times from climbing that it just formed a lump of scar tissue. the lump is minor but is weird. However, that vein quit bleeding and breaking. haha! sadly I feel like my legs are improving with pole only because of the scars forming from re-breaking the veins. such a pain in the butt. hope you get some answers soon.
