Congrats on pregnancy! And you will find a lot of Info on this, but don’t forget, you can always talk to your doctor next time you visit or even call, I’m sure the nurses can easily answer this one knowing you and your body 🙂

thanks ninja! the only thing abt the dr is it will b hard to explain the intense stretching lol esp back stretching and why i do it (pole) ugh people

I would stay stretch to maintain while pregnant, do not work on gaining flexy. I worked to maintain, because your body produces relaxin, and this hormone makes everything "relax" preparing the body for birth. Some women can't even lift weight or walk because it affects them so much. I was not one of those who it bothered, but I still didn't do any flexibility training. You could easily go too far and injure yourself if your not careful. So its something to be aware of while training for flexibility.
Always talk with your DR, but chances are they wont understand how intense you'll be stretching. LIsten to your body always!!

thank u veena!! i guess if back stretching isnt an option at all, i can still maintain my shoulders because that was my biggest problem i think, they made doing a backbend hard to hold when i first started! and legs shud be ok the entire pregnancy too. thank u again for the responses! i will def listen to my body signals
