    hi, i am wondering if there is any way to upload itunes music into windows movie maker.  i have not been able to find a way – copying the music file to another location, converting file to mp3 form,etc.  has not worked.  most of my music is in itunes, and i'm running out of music!

    Tarah;

    I use   DVDVideosoft.com    it was a free download.  Once I downloaded the program it created a file in my documents, which you could move to your desktop if you would prefer.

    When I copy music I open the the file DVDvideosoft in my documents, then I open my itunes highlight the song I want and drag it to the open DVDvideosoft foler.  From here I open the program from the shortcut that was created on my desktop when I downloaded. I open the program select  the Audio converter button…click that and then click on add files, it opens the folder DVDvideosoft in my documents then I click on on the song I want to convert and the rest is then done for you… it then converts the song and keeps it in the file folder.

    I hope this helps you.

    thank you so much, piglet!!  i actually figured this out last night!  the trick was that you have to save the converted file in your "documents".  saving it in your "music" does not work.  and your way (putting the music files to be converted in the DVDvideosoft folder first) sounds a little easier than the way i found.  YAY!!  https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    In Itunes you can select the option for it to be converted to MP3 format.  Then you can find the file for wmm as well.  Ive done that a few times.
