Your armpit wouldn’t be a part of any caterpillar I know… (I am pretty exhausted though lol)Do you have a video of your attempts? Or even one of someone else that you are watching so we can be clear on what your attempting?

Platinum- I reverse climb with forearm grip and it does end up in the armpit a bit.

Ok! For me in forearm grip it may rest on my armpit crease, but not in my armpit. Everyone is different though and it (forearm grip) is not my go to. 🙂 I still think a vid of attempts would be helpful!

I wasn’t being a smart ass by the way, the original post said “under the armpit” so I was envisioning something else 😉

I don’t think I explained myself very well. I will take a video today and would really appreciate any advice from you guys.. I need all the help i can get! Lol

Hi all, i have managed by the skin on my teeth to upload a video but put it in the videos section, not on this forum. I would really appreciate it if any of you would take the time to look and give me feedback. Thanks so much!

I’ll reply here too. I can see from your vid that you are not using a “grip”, but only holding on with the hand only, this will not allow you to hold the upper body in place so you can climb. Here is an example of a Forearm grip, you can see how the pole is running along the inner forearm up into the elbow pit, this hold will allow for more stability when doing the caterpillar or the climb. You can also use just an elbow grip if you find that more comfortable.

Hello all! Veena, I am wondering how often I should work on wrist strengthening moves to be able to do this move (and handshake grip gives me trouble with the hand at the bottom). I try to do wrist curls every other night (and in all directions). I also have the forearm grip squeeze thing. I still haven’t tried Dynaflex, but I might try it soon. I guess I am a little impatient, but should I be doing these everynight, but with less reps…or every few days with more reps. I am very glad I found all of you, thanks for your help.

Hi M, if you have question about reps, sets and frequency you’ll find suggestions for this listed in the description of each lesson and even more tips and info in the getting started lessons for each section 🙂
