I hate to say it, but I think any trick or spin can aggravate an inflammed rotator cuff. Walks and floor work might be the only thing that might not. Any spin could easily injure it. Split grip anything, Allegra, Handstands, etc. So many things could injure it. I'm no expert, though. Did you injure yours?

How did you injure your shoulder?
I had the same injury and pole was my therapy after 2yrs of Ortho, and physio. They were going to leave me lame as they couldn't get it to it's full range. It was the reverse grab spin that popped it back into place. That was my right arm.
I have since injured my left arm …lol(unertain if muscle or tendon) it is taking almost 3 months to get better. This is why my progress has slowed down quite a bit.
All I know is that you have to do your physio, and exercise as much as you can as you don't want to be lame the rest of your life. Range of motion and lots of stretching which I don't like to do myself because of the pain until I get to a certain point.
Shoulders are nasty and take a long time to be better and only you know where your at on your road to wellness.

Saphyre is right, a lot of the pole tricks could put your rotator cuff at risk, if your body isn't ready, or if you work out side of your ROM. Conditioning and strengthen for the shoulders is pretty much a must for pole dancers.
Most rotator cuff injuries happen when doing overhead motions with the arm. Overuse and repetitive overhead motions cause the most trouble….so don't over do the moves listed below.
Spins, reverse grab is a common one people rush into learning.
Inverted split grips,
Split grips,
Twisted grip from standing! This is a super, duper, common injury…..https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Obvious ones: jumping into sm’s and inverts
less obvious: fan legs! If you pole hold on the right, you can actually aggrivate the left cuff. I was teaching a girl who had nearly a six pack, and fan legs always aggrivated her non-dom rotator cuff. Also, if it’s already aggrivated, stay away from corkscrew and teddy.

thanks for the responses.

my non-dom shoulder has had a very very mild ache for a year now. i alway just figured i had pulled something and that it would just get better. it's stupid, but i just ignored it.
a couple of days ago- i was not even working out. i was just sitting cross-legged on the floor and leaning back on my straight arms. when i got up, i felt kinda stiff and my non-dom shoulder had moderate pain and it hurt to raise the arm.
i guess i'll have it looked at soon.
i figured that pretty much all poling could aggravate or cause injury to the shoulder… the mere THOUGHT of doing a split grip hold makes my shoulder hurt.
