I know alot of people are saying that it’s good to have both the 45 and 50. I really only wanted to get one pole at this time though. My hands are pretty small so that made me think I should go with the 45, but I don’t like the idea of having painful thigh grips from the smaller one. I guess what I wanted to know was exactly how big they are in inches. That makes more sence to me. And is that a circumfrence or diameter measurment? Considering my small hands and newness to this kind of dancing, do you think the 45 or 50 would be better for me?

The standard US size pole is the 2in (50mm) I"m not sure what other countries consider standard? If its just for home exercise and have fun then go with the smaller pole it will fit a smaller hand better. BUT if you want to possibly compete or dance else where I would chose a standard 50mm size. Hope that helps you. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
