so, I got my pole almost a month ago
I got my pole on the 29th of April and, feeling super excited, put it up that very night. Then I realised I couldn’t do *any* of the moves I took for granted, and that my grip really suffers on chrome.
Now almost one month later I can climb the pole, lay back, do some (dodgy) inverts, spins, getting close to the splits again…
I honestly felt so awful that first week of having the pole that I hardly touched it. I felt as if I could never get back the strength I used to have and it is honestly such a wonderful feeling to just be able to climb the pole again, to wake up feeling stiff and sore, not from injuries and physio, but from solid work exercising and stretching.
