So i’ve experienced a tiny bit of discomfort over the last year in the groin area, figured it was totally normal:)
But now that I’m getting more flexible and closer in my side splits it seems to be getting more irritated, and more painful. Im curious if not being positioned correctly in a stretch could cause this? Hit me with your ideas!!!

Hi did you try Rest,Ice,Compression and elevation? then heat once the swelling goes down. Maybe if it’s just a tightness try foam rolling Veena has great foam rolling lessons for tight muscles and tips for splits. maybe take a look at the tips on the site thats what I did when I strained mine and it worked well for me I’m now back on track with my splits. It didnt take long to heal either. 😉

I haven’t tried anything other than stretches for a pulled Adductor . Im going to ice it today and tomorrow a few times and not stretch for a couple days, see how it feels. How long did you rest yours? I Have done the adductor foam roller a few times, but it’s not a part of my regular stretching, ill take a look at the tips, veena does kick ass ass at covering all the bases, i just need to the the time:) Thanks for your input.

I did ice for 1 day. I rested for a week and kept a hot water bottle on it. And took Epsom salt baths. Hope it helps and you get well soon.
