Hey ladies so I’m sure someone has asked this already but what is the best stretch or equipment to aid someone to get into splits. I want to focus on this one big time. Looking forward to some awesome responses. So please respond and help me out.

I'm working on  my splits also. I have been using the flexy training here in the lessons.  I actually am making progress

This forum talks about a really good book that I just checked out from the library. It is all about how to do resistance stretching (by yourself, with a band, and with another person.) I tried it last night and felt a difference!

btw, I use a foam roller before hand. Yoga blocks can also be hands, as are resistance bands and yoga straps. I also use a wall for my middle splits so gravity can be my friend.

You have a great resource for stretching right here! In the lessons I use a foam roller, yoga mat, yoga block and sometimes a yoga strap. There are individual lessons that teach you proper form and also 3 routines, 2 for splits and 1 for your back!

This "Getting Started Stretching" lesson will tell you everything you need to know about stretching, including what you might need.
