suggestions! i need flat boots for gogo/pole dancing
hi girls!!
i need suggestions asap! ive just scored my self a pole dancing/gogo gig at a night club.. the only problem is i need to find flat funky boots that can stick to the pole.. reasons why i dont want a heel/platform is because 1) ill be dancing on a small slippery bar. 2) the pole is on the bar and kind of short.. i nearly touch the roof with my bare feet when i invert so any extra length will just be a hassel 3) if i accidentally kick some poor person trying to get a drink.. it will hurt them really badly!
so i need a functionaly flat boot that is pole approperiate and looks cool at the same time.. im not having much luck finding anything at the moment and wondering if theres any girls out there that might have some and can reccomend something to me?

I LOVE boot covers. I wear them over sneakers, usually just really flat cheap white ones like WalMart Danskins or canvas shoes. Thats what I'm wearing in my Merry Christmas album here on Veena. It lets me hoop in parades and things while still having cute boots, and you can wear them over and over. I've replaced the elastic on mine 3 times. The fuzzy ones are easiest to find because they're so trendy, but often don't cover the toe and would look a little silly on tennis shoes. But here's what they look like on me (Got them as part of this costume, 20 bucks for the whole thing, new, on Ebay):

And if you want some of the shinier ones, like the Lycra ones, then ballet flats are awesome underneath (they always picture them with women wearing heals under them in the listings)

Is there a such thing as sexy rain boots? Bet they'd be grippy like crazy and flat footed…. and you can always get them in the coolest patterns lol.

you could also just buy ANY boot you like and paint a streak of "shoe goo" on the part you need grip. super durable, flexible, and sticks to pole! also you can shmear some on your soles to ADD grippy to the bottoms. only problem is shoe goo only comes in black– but you might be able to put a cool star shape or heart shape ?
i love shoe goo and used to use it all the time on any shoes that needed more sticky on the pole.

Pole Uggs are incredible, but I’m not sure how they’d go with a gogo dancing outfit. They are very warm too so would probably make your feet/calves sweat a lot.

I know this sounds funny but check out places like spirit Halloween website or if you have a year round halloween or costume shop….they have pretty durable shoes that “go with” Halloween costumes but the shoes are really more durable than you would think!
