super tight lower back and hips,help!

I have this same problem. I am struggling to loosen them up, but seriously, foam roll, stretch, tennis ball your muscles! Everyday!

This is probably my number one issue. I see a chiro every two weeks and get hour long massages. I stretch, I foam roll, I use Biofreeze and heating pads for temporary relief. The number one thing that helps me is my acupuncturist. In addition to needling, she uses the trigger point, myofascial release massage technique. She spends a good hour on this area alone, then needles. I recently got back on the pole after weeks off, and I was pleasantly surprised at my own strength. It was there all along, it was just hidden under the pain. Good luck!!

I'm a little bit looser after a hot epsom salt bath. Tennis ball massages also work wonders for me.
