I just got 2 new tattoos 😀 Very happy. Except that one of them is on my thigh where I grip the mose when doint pole sits, car and thigh holds. It will be hard not do use that part of my thigh for some time. And not looking forward to having the pole burn all over again. But I love how it looks hehe 🙂 Just hope that the pole wont ruin it.
Do any of you have a tattoo on a place on the body that you use heavily on the pole and has it faded or anything?

I've been poling on my ribcage tattoo for about 4 months now and no sign of fading or anything. I think something would be showing by now since it's on my dominant side… the side I do all my leg hangs, inverts and hood ornaments on. 😉

Thats great 🙂 How long did you wait after getting the tattoo until you started poling? I just got mine 5 days ago and its peeling right now and the wait is not easy!

Mine is on my dominant side as well…so far it is okay but I haven't poled much either. I am worried. Luckily my artist is my friend so hopefully touch ups will be easier

I have a tattoo on my foot EXACTLY where I climb. I guarantee if it was possible I would have worn it off by now!! If your tattoos are healed you have nothing to worry about 🙂

I got my first Tattoo yesterday on the top of my foot! SO GOOD to hear, that climbing doesn´t affect the tattoo! But how long should i be waiting before climbing again? I am a little worried, i want to wait rather a bit longer than pole again to early – even it is very hard to wait! But hey, extra time for strength training, right?

Yep body mods can sure get in the way sometimes! I just got a piercing on my foot tattoo and it's almost in the way when I Caterpillar up on the pole (its on my gripping foot that grips with the top of the foot) here's a pic..
I have to kinda Caterpillar up and try to shift the weight onto the inner side of my foot more to not squash it! It seems tolerable if I wear a bandaid over it, lol

I guess when it is healed. I was asking on a body mod forum. And they gave me crap answer. When it is healed. I wanted to know how I know when it is completely healed. Since it might take shorter or longer then the average. Blahh Hehehe..
I still can't do anything holding with my thighs. It sucks! Its been 2 weeks since I had an actual pole practice and I only did a bit of strenght training yesterday.
I knew this when I got the tattoo but when it actually comes to waiting/healing time it is so much harder to wait then I thought it would be. 😛

For those of you that have foot tattoos: how long have you had them and how have they survived over time? I've been reading that foot tattoos fade and blur really fast and that you have to get them touched up as often as every couple of years! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif I'd hate to have it fade or look bad so quickly…especially with the amount of pain that I hear is involved in tattooing such a tender area.
