    thought i’d try again. anyone have any advice for hand placment ect to get into twisted grip? have seen the videos but cant seem to grasp where and how it works. have been trying to get handspring/cartwheel/jacknife forever, so thought i would try this and see how it feels. thanks. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

    I had posted a example vid on this twisted grip last week I believe. Its really hard to write out how to get into the position. I’ll give it a try.

    Inside arm goes above your head, as if your going into a spin (normal grip).

    keeping the arm in place walk your body across the pole (in front) until your arm is in the twisted position.

    place the arm that was the outside arm but is now the inside arm, down below keep the arms straight but be careful not to hyper extend your elbow joints.

    Give a kick with your outside leg to bring your hips over your head.

    I would not try this move if you can’t do a solid straight edge/caterpillar or split grip mount of some sort. This move puts a tremendous amount of stress on your wrist/forearms and shoulders. Strong lats are must. BE CAREFULL. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
