Does anyone know what poles Crunch Gym is using? They are removable and some of them spin…not sure what brand they are?

yeah there was video of it at the time. She was doing all sorts of fun aerial things then came down and did a basic fireman and a sexy get up and the pole came down and there she was holding it in her hands…..yikes!

So crazy! I was noticing the ceiling mount at the gym (they are removable) and realized I have no idea who makes their poles

=) i did pull one down. it was when i had come out of a corkscrew spin, the torque I put on the pole was too much and it pulled out. the poles at the NY gyms are 1-piece platinum stages… you can tell by the pin to put them on spin.

any pole can come out when it's not set up properly. that was the first time any of hte instructors had seen someone pull one out though.

Wow,that’s really something,I take classes at crunch every week and there is one particular pole that seems bent sideways and once in a while the instructors do spend a few extra minutes tightening them at the top,but that’s scary, you weren’t hurt or throw your back out did you?

nope not at all =) you can see it at the end of this video. i thought it was sort of funny until i looked around and saw everyone else was horrified. it makes sense though, the poles get slightly bent and then they can't hold as tightly as they once could. you can actually see how much the pole moves in this video, prior to it coming out.
