    yo!

I’m 26 1/2, married, I have a 5 yr old daughter. For the past few years I’ve wanted to try pole dancing for the fun of it, but also because it looks like a great upper body workout. The closest studio with lessons is two hours away, and I wasn’t able to put a pole up in my old rental with vaulted ceilings, but I just moved to a more pole-friendly house and I’m saving up to buy an xpole.

I’m a bit nervous about the difficulty and what moves I can try when I get it. I’m a hiking guide at a fitness spa, so my lower body is pretty fit, but my upper body will need a lot of work. This community is amazing though and is so helpful. Perusing through the forums helped me decide on what pole to get, and watching the posted vids gave me confidence and helped me realize that all body types can build strength and look beautiful doing pole moves.

So I just keep doing my ab and arm workouts and watching pole vids and wait for the next few paydays so I can order my pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    Welcome!
I had/have a little issue with the arm strength but have very strong legs too so for some moves it takes a little more time and some not as long. The more you pole the better the arm strength.
