I have had many different pole injuries that cause me varying levels of concern.  I did have bruising and a small cyst on my hip that appeared associated with some aggressive inverted holds that I was doing.

Spigelian hernias occur along the edge of the rectus abdominus muscle through the spigelian fascia, which is several inches to the side of the middle of the abdomen.  I'm not quite sure from your description, where your injury is located.

It would be impossible to diagnose your injury without examining it.  You should probably visit a doctor or a sports injury professional for more information if you are concerned.  I think if you ignore it, you may risk further injury.  Good luck.

Okay, I looked up what that muscle is. It runs along the transverse muscle. It is on the side not the “6 pack” area.

So, I had the “bumps” looked at. They are Trigger points. Just wanted to post this just in case anyone else has had something like this.
