    All right Ladies so why am I so sore and exhausted from my last stretch is it the same theory as a body massage does it release toxins into the body? This is the first time since I started stretching that I am exhausted. And I have been drinking my water too.

    There are so many factors that can contribute to exhaustion. I know that personally when I have extreme exhaustion I am either not resting, about to have a period from hell, having severe inflammation or am coming down with an infection… or overworked my body without enough recovery… or a combination of any of those factors.

    Find what works for you. I have found that I can only do flexibility training two days in a row and then need a break. Otherwise I become less flexible and way too sore.

    I hope you get to feeling better and find a routine that helps you. Consult with your doctor if needed.

    I was the same when i first started stretching. You need to give yourself a day or 2 days in between to rest and recover, see if that helps.

    I've noticed about a 2-3 inch progression on my splits now that I went from stretching everyday to doing V's routine twice a week, waaay more flexible when I don't stretch everyday.

    Listen to your body, it is very good at telling us when we need to stop or slow down, So take heed the stretching can wait for a couple of days you will not loose what you have gained .:-)
