Are you asking about Iron X? Aka Human flag?
Try googling that and see if that’s what you’re thinking of!
-
No its like an iron x but your body is straight up nd down. Think of a v straddle with your legs down, body next to the pole, and holding the pole in twisted grip
-
like this? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/59/76/f8/5976f87b11a5fe59edefa91949000b5d.jpg?
I’d call that a split grip straight edge.

oh and here is Veena in it 🙂 https://d2izpgaagyeguz.cloudfront.net/4f8831b5-de08-4879-a19d-26860ac37250-l.jpg?Expires=1432736791&Signature=CicxFsr0MPgDO1KtoC075OC71jAlOgbJoJFis-PgLVbTmkzZnItvV55H9ryIvCFEKh~Cs43vwktv~lsaYokDxGCSCoZJYGzOm2G9cRdbwvGw5-hRt61ke-zjBFUZD3A00vmZ23qK8MrSfT8bWgn7aQhzX~5aptgoAvsETyxHVJE_&Key-Pair-Id=APKAJ2FEA2GFU55RVASA looking good V!
Maybe thats what you mean?
-
Ok, I didn’t realize you could air walk in twisted grip… You’re not talking inverted? Right? Maybe you can?! I don’t know how that would work
-
Yes mam u can ive witnessed it. Lol. Yeah ur not inverted your body is just to the side of the pole
-
When you airwalk forwards or backwards using bracket grip/split grip, it can look like twisted grip because of being side on to the pole. It’s not twisted grip though.
-
However it can be done in twisted grip as well, you just need even more shoulder flexibility/stability/strength than a regular TG hangspring
-
Yes, TG airwalk. One of our instructors taught us that in class. It takes a lot of strength, but can be very graceful on spinning pole.
-
Hangman, also heard it called a tulip. Also heard it called a puff on 123 poling.com but they were using forearm grip with the lower arm.
