we recently moved & i have to get a new pole for my new pole room. the ceiling in my new pole space is a tray ceiling. does anyone know if that kind of ceiling will be OK with the Xpert? i will be getting a 10ft. i have been using a temp pole in a smaller room since i had an 8ft already. this all started this morning because my hubby said he would order me an xpert for my new space next week if i want (&&of course i do)  i've been sad because my temp pole doesn't have spin & it's a powder coated & i'm so ready for some spinny && either chrome or TG… haven't decided that part either, lol.

     thanks!

Hello, I just checked out your picture, Is that light right in the middle of the flat tall part?  My son put in a tray when he remodeled and it has the same bone structure as a regular ceiling.  The light is encouraging if you dont know   At least it should be to the left or right of a beam as the electrical box is usually mounted on the beam.  Of course "should" is a subjective word here! I would either see if a view of the structure is possible from the crawl space, or maybe even turn off the power to that light and remove it so you can look up there.  It's pretty easy, and usually only 1 or 2 screws.  That would be sweet having your pole there instead of the light.  Maximum height!  (little ceiling envy here).  good luck.
