It would depend on how long you were being hired to dance for…I’m not sure if you want to do it for a few hours or just do a few sets and break them up. I belly dance at a hookah bar and I break my show up into two sets because then I can take a break and give a chance for new people to come in. I charge a flat rate instead of hourly because I don’t even dance for a full hour…I make $75 for two fifteen minute sets plus any tips the audience gives me. You can use that as a ballpark range and base it off that because I think the going rate for dance performances at clubs/bars is around there. Most gogo dancers make about $125 a night but they dance for longer. I definitely would not undercharge him especially if you bring your pole with you. I would say anywhere between the two figures I gave you would be fair, but also calculate your time/gas money into that.
