You know, I think you may have been right about needing to make sure it was super-tight. When I measured floor to ceiling I didn’t account for floor-squishiness when I added that extra 1" to the pole height, so I went back and added another 1/2 an inch. I swung around a few times and it didn’t budge so maybe that was the problem! (I hurt my back trying a new move so I’ll be off the pole for a few weeks and won’t really be able to give it a good testing for awhile–dang it)
