All peeps with action poles. How do they work? How are they mounted to ceiling? Are they fully removable like an x pole? Semi removable like a lilmynx? How do they go up? Are they spinny and stationary? I really want one, but I cannot get anything that requires screwing into a ceiling joist.

If anyone has the removable pole, let me know if its worth getting and would work for me!! 🙂

Yep….I have one….the 38mm model. It is the removable version. I love brass…..and they are a stones throw away from me….so I can pick it up instead of paying for shipping..

They are a one piece pole though, cut to a specific height(which you provide for them) My current one is 8ft…..but I am going to order an taller one. I only need the pole piece if I order it in a 38mm as I already have the base abd flange from the other one.

Now, the pole I have does not spin. It is static only. I believe(I may be wrong) they don't offer a spinning pole.

I have danced on the permanent versions as well in both sizes. 38mm and 50mm. The permanent ones bolt right in to the ceiling and floor if memory serves me correctly.

The permanent versions are cheaper to buy than the removable as it is the flange at the top that makes it more expensive.

One word of advice….I love my 38mm, but as he is thinner, I bent him. Badly. He came down on me. If you look in my album, you will see the pics. I had a friend who works with plumbing pipes etc un bend him for me—but he told me, if he bends again—he is done for as a pole. The integrity of the brass is compromised, so I have to be gentle with him. That is why I am going to order another length.

If you need a pole that completely breaks down—I would stick with Xpole. They have fab poles too and now offer brass.

My other 2 poles are the orginal chrome xpole. Love them—even though they are stuck together and lord knows–I can't get them apart….lol. I still love them though!!

    OH–and another thought

If you are going to buy one….

Are you coming up for Miss Pole Dance Canada? or do you ever make the trip up here from Oregon? Which part of Oregon are you in?

The place that sells these is a 15min drive from my house. Seriously…..if you are going to order one and you plan on coming up…….you could pick it up while you visit and pole jam!! LOL

I WISH I could go up there! Right now I need to save up as much as I can. I live in Eugene, the land of no jobs! I am in the middle of tring to get a job and start my own dance classes. Once I get those going, I want to order a 38mm (my ceilings are 8′) and a PS star stage. I have a x pole right now, but I want something different. I have heard the brass is really slick, which kinda defeats the purpose!

The lack of employment down there still hasn't improved huh? That sucks……Eugene is a nice area. I have friends that live in Beaverton area but since I don't have a passport, I can't head across the border until I do—or I pay for the new drivers licence…..one of the two. I LOVE Oregon! It is sooooo like the area I live.

My brass is only slippy when he is cold. Brass takes a bit longer to warm up but once he does…..I am sticking like crazy! Sometimes—tooooo much. lol

Not only is the emploent situation bad, but I am over-educated. The employers do not believe me Shen I say that I WANT a part-time job in retail or what have you. I worked in biotech before and in an office before that, so they don’t believe me. It is frustrating cuz unemployment does not last forever and I have bills to pay that most people my age do not have to deal with!!!
