Same boat!!! Stress is right a healthy lifestyle definitely helps, but I still can't gain like my friends. I am a member of another forum and there is an entire section for people that want to gain weight. I have found the most successful method for me is to workout (strength train) and take cytogainer at least 2 times a day. However, I went to replace my cytogainer Sunday and realized the formula has changed and it doesn't have as many calories.. 🙁 I am considering Russian Bear (5000 calories, highest calorie weight gainer on the market)
I am in my mid-thirties, 5'2" and right now I am 132.. I was 115 most of my adult life even after childbirth…I was able to reach 130 with extreme strength training and weight gain shakes.. however, my goal is 140 and I have been there once.. I slacked off working out for 2 weeks and was back to 135 and I cannot seem to get back there.
Recently I lost my job and my boyfriend and the stress had me down to 130…
I have tried periactin (prescription antihistamine that increases weight gain) but I cannot function for 2 1/2 days after taking it. Many of the ladies on the other forum resort to prescription meds and I don't really like the idea of that.. the new craze is megace (I think that is the name.. prescribed to cancer patients and anorexics)..
I hate the way clothes fit.. I wore a pair of strappy stilletos a party with shorts and the straps looked like hula hoops around my ankles to me.. I know how you feel.

I am in the same boat. I signed up for Match.com and deleted my profile after 3 days. I know online dating is very normal these days, but I just feel like a fish out of water in the online dating world. However, I don't have much luck using conventional methods either. Primarily because I am not really a social butterfly. I don't go out much and I am pretty introverted.. horrible combo, but after reading the post I would like to give POF a try.
