Is there a photo somewhere of the Remi foot hold? I'm trying to look for it on the pole Dance Dictionary but its not loading today.

Are there any tutorials on the jade drop? I can execute it fine on my pole at home but on other poles, I seem to have difficulty so I have to wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

I wish I could describe it. All I can tell you is I don’t think its the Gemini/scorpio switch. A few months ago, a friend of mine taught himself how to do some sort of switch jade split. And I recently read that Anastasia s. just mastered the switch.

Look at the bright side. At least these are real pole competitions where people get to come and watch some spectacular performances. That’s way better than wasting time at crappy events where the girls don’t do anything impressive and the winner is based on who collected the most funny money instead of having true skills.

My flexibility is pretty good when it comes to doing the splits. I’ll have to regain some of the flexibility of my back. It just seems that if one can do the ballerina, the allegra shouldn’t be a problem. I can even grab my opposite ankle while attempting the allegra. Hopefully I’m not pressing my upper leg too hard against the pole.

I was supposed to be in their April competition and it’s been postponed. To this day, they still haven’t given me a new filming date. Grrrrr….I had already booked my flight but they said they’d reimburse me for the flight changes for the new competition date….whenever is IS!! Has anyone else been waiting since April to compete??
I’ve been waiting for finals since I competed last Dec. It seems like E or HBO would jump to pick up on it since its a reality show.

I’ve had my Lil Mynx now for three years and its been fine until now. A month or two ago it began to squeak,. But just a few days ago, it also began to cause small pieces of the ceiling to fall just from jiggling it with my hand. The hole in the ceiling is a little bigger on one side than the other but that’s the side I climb on the most. The other side of the hole is perfectly fine and doesn’t allow the pole to move at all. I’m supposed to hear from the manufacturer today for advice. But I’m also looking into purchasing the X pole since its designed to fit higher in other parts of the house. Besides, I really need the proper amount of space to practice.

A friend just informed me that its an ankle release into a flag. I haven’t tried going into it with a straddle yet. Hope this helps.

The show was supposed to air in January on Bravo but all that’s been changed. Does anyone know which network it will be on now and when?

Being new to competition, this sounds like it would be a lot of fun. But since there are those who are sensitive about age, that spinster title may very well put a damper on those who wish to compete. Not everyone feels the need to be open about allowing the public know which age group they fall into even if they happen to look younger than what they really are.

Is there a pole out there just for vaulted ceilings? I have a pole but I lack the proper space because of my ceiling. I really need more space in order to start doing spins.
