The problem for me wasn’t so much the stretching and movement of the neck/upper back but more the pressing on and catching of the surface studs, so the fish flop may not be a problem but the backward roll wouldn’t seem a good idea, unless you can do that without your neck touching the floor?

I used to have a nape piercing for over a year which eventually rejected leaving a scar that won’t go 🙁 but loved it while I had it. I’ve heard microdermals don’t have as high a rejection rate as piercings so you might be fine! Wearing halter necks was an issue but I haven’t poled with the nape piercing so as far as the pole I couldn’t really say (and I am beginner), though I think it could limit as you are always conscious about knocking something against it. Wearing a plaster over the area would be one way to lessen the impact if you are doing shoulder mounts and have a knock, that’s what I did at the hairdressers etc. Hope to see photos if you go ahead with it!

Hey! I live in Spain and have been to a class (only drop ins) in Barcelona and Sevilla. I’m still beginner so don’t have tons of advice I’m afraid. I think the dance school in Seville that I went to is the only one in that city and you have to sign up to the course. I went to the first and couldn’t keep going for personal reasons. Anyway, I know that they have a school(s) in Marbella, Malaga province, and I am interested in going for a one-off class! So if you want a buddy let me know! I live in the south and would love an excuse to head there. Are you just travelling through? I am a pole beginner and soon to buy one all for me.
