I really only feel like the tipping back works the last quarter of the way…. so yeah it’s not going to get your hips above your head from under your head. But from being horizontal it helps (attaching a pic from amy’s Blog)

I also don’t see how you can keep your elbows bent?! Not sure why they are telling you to do that. Can you find any pics of that? That seem weird to me!

    I remember this being helpful…

Also, I think the head back is important for the final 25% of inverting… I see people get most of the way but don’t lean back so the hips can’t fully lift. Until that pivot point I think Ò€œcrotch to the poleÒ€ not legs to the pole or anything else. Crotch to the pole gives you that umpfh from the hips.

That’s what worked for me anyway

A similar thing happened to me from a bondage split a few weeks ago. To me it hurt, yes, but it felt like something was out of place. I tried rolling and twisting and nothing. Eventually I ended up taking a muscle relaxer hoping that would loosen things up all allow it to go back into the correct spot…. a few hours later I coughed and it popped and it felt so much better. It was sore to the touch for a few days after but then it was back to normal.

Some people stick better to a clean pole.. Oils and sweat can make a pole slippery. Personally I’m a pretty dry poler, and I like things a little grimey for better grip. Haha. πŸ™‚ I do wipe it from time to time… So it’s not like I NEVER do, But as far as I know there aren’t any long term benefits to pole cleaning.

I do not have one… however I believe what they mean by sensitive skin is skin with allergies to metal.

The coating makes it safe for people with allergies to nickel or other metals. The enhanced grip would make it grippier than chrome, and that would be great… but also not gentle to the skin. I find that on grippier pole finishes I get way more bruises and pole burns πŸ™‚

    1. Not me. Brass is like uncomfortablely sticky for me. Unless you use too much dry hands then it gets frosty and slick.

    2. Sad girl drop?

3…etc. I need to look up python. Not sure what it is Γ°ΕΈΛœβ€š

I would absolutely return it. It will hurt resale. Mine cane with a ding in the dome and I never complained and now that I’m thinking of selling it and getting a new pole I’m worried gag will factor into selling it.

  • also a swag light fixture is an easy way to move a fixture… https://i.pinimg.com/564x/55/f0/9a/55f09a61a87e0d3f28c7abbc271c11b5–diy-kitchens-dream-kitchens.jpg

Just need to not make the swag part so swoopy, and more tight to the ceiling πŸ™‚

  • Congrats on the move! Well if you are vaulting or traying the ceiling the light fixture is not an issue.. you can just do like 4 recessed lights vs the one central fixture. Once they are ripping apart the ceiling moving the lights is not a big deal. Id say to get an estimate, What is above you? Attic space… Do you have a garage? Do you need a garage? I’m going to be turning my garage into a pole space… (going slow, its happening at the same time we are redoing parts of our house, and permits and architect BS had seriously held me up) But I’ve been researching flooring and stuff… Missy (I can tag you to her insta) has an awesome garage studio, and it inspired me. My current short home pole (8.5ft) is a pain and so is the proximity to the walls, but it still beats not having a pole at home.

Very interesting Veena… I feel like instagram doesn’t ask if you own it, and it seems like there is no way to dispute it if they do shut you down. So I was curious how that works. The whole things is making insta less fun. Personally I see a lot of people out there getting followings covering other peoples songs. Singing/guitar whatever… and they don’t get picked up by the copyright police because thats harder to detect. But when its like 30 sec of background music in a studio and they pull your video its extremely frustrating :/

Veena, you mentioned paying for it… in what way do you have to pay for it? Cause I mean I’ve paid for lots of music over the years, physical CDs, Vinyls, iTunes, and Apple Music. But I don’t think I can still play those things…. I do think there is different licenses for personal use vs. sharing but I’m not sure… I mean FB at least gives you a chance to appeal when they take a video down… so I guess if you own it you can appeal it then. Instagram just seems to shut down whole accounts without warning πŸ™

That’s so awful. πŸ™ please let me know so I can refollow! I’m currently muting all my videos, but I know I had a few from like a year ago with music, hopefully they don’t dig too deep. Ugh so annoying

The poledancerka knee pads arent very padded, and aren’t very sticky but I love them and they expose a lot of skin πŸ™‚ https://poleactive.com/collections/poledancerka/products/poledancerka-knee-pads-black

Split grip is my go to! Same experience as you… it became trained from butterfly and Ayesha was the next logical step. I still don’t love elbow grip, but it’s ok… I never do forearm. Ever.
