Then I’ll pick shoes and jewelry etc. so much easier than digging through my closet!!! I just don’t feel comfy in tight things, especially sitting, I feel like stuff cuts into my stomach and then I feel fat and not sexy, when I wear flowy stuff, with some skin exposed I feel skinny and pretty. It’s just personal preference. Things that are too short that I have to keep tugging on also annoy me, or tips I have to yank up or wear with an uncomfortable bra. I’m just a picky pain in the ass. 😊

I was just typing fast on my phone… I just meant the shows weren’t in Vegas, but even if they were, short and shiny isnt my thing… so I probably would still keep it more comfy and baggy… but luckily the shows were more low key. One day I’ll make it to Vegas!!!

These are the outfits I wore to pole shows. Not Vegas… but short and shiny dresses aren’t normally my thing. I’m most comfortable in casual clothes with a hint of sexy. These are from pole shows in Colorado, NY and Maryland. Much lower key.

1. You’re simply overdoing it. Your body could be fatigued.
2. You aren’t consuming enough calories. You could be burning off a lot of calories, and not consuming enough to build or sustain muscle.I’ve been guilty of both at different times. So I know how frustrating it can be.

Old hardwoods*** I’m not sure how those words got out of order! 🙈

I think moving the rug isn’t a bad idea. And I’d listen to xpole first and foremost.
However I have a rug about the same size… and it being huge doesn’t move. And if I was going to pole in that room for a day or two i probably would feel fine with it. And just check the level often to make sure things aren’t shifting. My giant dog runs full speed at my rug and bounds onto it and it doesn’t move. I also have hardwoods old under it…. nothing super slick like new hardwoods or tile. If I was going to pole long term in that room and was set on keeping the rug I would get a permanent mount. At least with the top mounted you’ll have less fear of things shifting. And it’s just a few holes in the ceiling and can easily be patched.

My in Ellie’s have a thicker heel and a taller wider base than their pleaser counterpart. It may not be true of all styles though. I think that’s what accounts for the weight and better balance 😬

I am the same size in Pleasers and Ellies… My ellies are HEAVY, but also super stable. Much easier to walk and balance in then pleasers of the same size.

Also the top hand can be in cup or true grip. 🙂 I think that’s about all my knowledge on the subject 😬

Here is Linsey lithe doing it to brass monkey

I’ve heard it called “lever grip invert” and “funny grip invert”. You can do it sideways or backwards. I’ve done it a few times into brass monkey, though it’s not my fave entry.

As per the xpole website your pole comes with a 125mm (5in) extension and a 250mm (10in) extension.

Yeahhh Challenges can be really motivating, but also really draining. I did find that doing them helped me get on the pole, then once I was there I played with more moves… but I also kind of burnt out. But again, life stressors probably played a big role in that too. I keep wanting to participate in more challenges, then right before it starts I usually end up talking myself out of it.
I think instagram can put a lot of additional pressure on pole. Even just keeping up with my feed is exhausting. Generally I try not to take it too seriously… or it becomes an issue.
