Side climb. Owwww. Day 19. https://instagram.com/p/1rVFSBDLJ6/

  • SweatBlock is an antiperspirant towel. You have to blot it (do not wipe) and apparently it works really well. My husband uses it from time to time… Following the directions is important.

Anyway, I think Mighty Grip was making a similar product geared towards pole. I have a sample of it I’m waiting to try when it gets really warm πŸ™‚ I’m not home so I can’t check the name right now… But I’d see if you can search here for info on that πŸ™‚

Very nice. I had been doing something similar…. and color coding moves “red, yellow, green” (attempted/want to attempt, progressing, mastered) but I haven’t done any updating to it in so long that its all moves like fireman spin…

You have a great list. Thank you!

Thanks guys! Don’t worry, I’m not bumming hard about bent legs. I don’t mind a tuck then BAM legs out, I think that looks cool too, and that’s mostly what I try and do at home. I think strength may have some role, but I’m going to blame my tight hammys too. Γ°ΕΈΛœΕ“ I’ll work on it!

Yayo, I think the Mean Girl one has a battery pack. Its really nice and works really well…. I know its pricey but might be a good option if you need a battery. πŸ™‚

I feel like we’ve been waiting on it for a while… Did Xpole announce it here or on Insta?

I’ve just been waiting. Hm. Maybe I’ll spend the AmEx Gift card I was going to use towards a new yoga bag… Hm, But it’s getting close to summer so maybe I can hold off. Decisions, Decisions. πŸ˜›

Also with handstands I started by walking up the wall. That made me more comfortable than kicking up for sure. πŸ™‚

    Everyone has such great tips!

Curious If you’re trying with your head on the ground (this is what I’d call an elbowstand, not a forearm stand, but everyone calls things by different names)… Cause I find the fear level on the elbowstand much lower than what I call a forearm stand. A forearm stand for me is much more difficult, and a lot scarier especially when you do it with your face looking at the floor 😳 So I’d definitely start with head on the floor.

So, sometimes I do shoulder presses with my knees on the couch/chair (much warmer than the pole, I can wear sweats, etc) soooo I’m wondering if a similar position, with your knees or feet on the sofa or even an exercise ball, could help you feel comfortable upside down.

I do think it will come. At first I felt a lot more comfortable working on this from a CKR… πŸ™‚ that’s another option. πŸ™‚

I hope some of that helped and isn’t bad advice. Hopefully some can correct me if I gave you any bad tips 😁 I get nervous because I’m not an expert on this stuff.
